It has been said that not all who wander are lost. We try to live by that, although, the fact is, sometimes we really are lost! Other times what we are visiting is lost, like a toy kicked under the bed, against the wall and covered by a fallen sock. Lost, until discovered and appreciated once again!
We routinely look for lost places, sometimes far away from the interstate, abandoned, left to die a financial death, and other times right next to the freeway, but hidden, unknown, and without a Starbucks.
We intend to search out Lost Places and pull them out from under the bed for you to play with, if only here, if only virtually, but we hope to tell their stories well enough that you may choose to go find them, or another one, yourself.
